Unfortunately we were unable to find the right candidate to fulfil our original vacancy so we are re-recruiting for the right person to primarily provide 2nd/3rd line support maintaining core infrastructure whilst implementing developments and improvements here at Bedales Schools, set in the rural countryside of Petersfield, Hampshire.

 

The role would suit a senior technician or a current network manager looking to progress their career with two other Network Managers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of the country’s most prestigious independent schools for an ICT Network Manager.

 

Working within a customer focused, innovative ICT Department your focus will to maintain, develop and improve. You will primarily maintain the Schools’ ICT infrastructure including physical and wireless networks, server infrastructure, backups, school systems and communications. You will be responsible for managing software deployments, administering & developing school systems whilst using your technical expertise to drive through ICT projects & improvements that enhance the lives of staff and students.

 

As the successful candidate, together with your exemplary customer service skills and a desire to continuously learn and improve, you will possess three key attributes: you will be great at what you do, have attention to detail and care passionately about your work.

We welcome applicants with or without education or schools experience, however exposure to a 2nd/3rd line technical support role and a proven history of implementing ICT systems, developments and improvements is essential.

 

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day worked between the operational hours of 07:00hrs to 18:00 hrs. In addition, the post will be required to work approximately 4 Saturdays per year between 08:00 hrs to 13:30 hrs and will receive the equivalent time off in lieu during the corresponding week.

 

- First interviews: Thursday 28th and Friday 29th April 2022 (via Teams)

- Second interviews: Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 5th May 2022 (on-site)
