adamyoung Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 How can we empty all our users recycle bins, they cant access them but we think they may have some files left in them. We did a search for RECYCLER but couldnt find any folders - does this mean theyre gone?
MrDylan Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Did you remember to check the box for Search System Folders and [search Hidden Files and Folders[/i]? If you know there's definately some there that would explain it. Other than that you could do with setting some Recycle Bin GPOs. Find these under: User Configuration ¦ Administrative Templates ¦ Windows Components ¦ Windows Explorer Here you can set a maximum size for the Recycle bin, or stop it being used altogether. Incidentally, you'll find that if items are deleted from a mapped drive, the Recycle Bin will not be used, whereas if items are deleted from My Documents, then it will be used.
