How can we empty all our users recycle bins,

they cant access them but we think they may have some files left in them. We did a search for RECYCLER but couldnt find any folders - does this mean theyre gone?

Did you remember to check the box for Search System Folders and [search Hidden Files and Folders[/i]?

If you know there's definately some there that would explain it.

Other than that you could do with setting some Recycle Bin GPOs. Find these under: User Configuration ¦ Administrative Templates ¦ Windows Components ¦ Windows Explorer

Here you can set a maximum size for the Recycle bin, or stop it being used altogether.

Incidentally, you'll find that if items are deleted from a mapped drive, the Recycle Bin will not be used, whereas if items are deleted from My Documents, then it will be used.
