Depends on the service. Services like Netflix and Prime are very good at detecting VPNs. That said, there are DNS services like Playmo.tv which work for other TV services. I used to use them until Netflix stamped down on it.

Or are you talking about accessing British services from overseas?

Yes, UK services. BT including BT now to access Sky subscribed services. I have a Firestick too, but access can be achieved (at home) to the via the app in the BT front end.

*** Edit *** - I even wondered about leaving my home PC fully/workstation on and Quick assisting (or similar) in to it!

I used ExpressVPN when travelling previously (mainly for China firewall, but around Japan/Asia too), generally speed wise it’s never great for streaming live, but if you let it buffer a bit before playing worked fine (or offline download on things like Amazon prime)

Nice thing is just being able to buy a few months to use it as needed

A lot of Youtubers are sponsored by ExpressVPN, including my favourite one, Uncle Roger

I still have Private Internet Access, though I haven't used it abroad or attempted to watch things like Netflix. I am considering switching to ExpressVPN, which seems to be a very popular sponsor in the YouTube and Spotify ad-spots space.

So are Raycon ear buds, and they're... not great.

Used to use ExpressVPN as they seemed the most popular although customer service wasn't the best. They are also quite slow to implement fixes when certain services have become savvy to their IP ranges and blocked them...

Been using Nord for the last 3-4 months and can't fault them so far.

I thought it fair to update. I decide to sign up with Nord, but a constantly flicking cursor at payment point put me off so I went ExpressVPN. It's been mostly faultless and have managed to watch Spurs beat Newcastle and Arsenal lose to Crystal Palace via NOWTV - double win in my eyes, both in high quality picture quality! Both times picture quality seemed to drop after about an hour. Not sure why, but on the second time I disconnected, re-started and all was good after. Not sure if the laptop was running hot and throttling or something to do with the VPN, but it resolved the problem. Worth pointing out the hotel WiFi is running at 40 Mbps which is pretty impressive I think! Might try some late night Euro matches tonight.

I think I can cancel FoC under 7 or 30 day, but might stick with it for Summer hols and to feel I'm being fair!

*** EDIT - BT TV APP doesn't seem to work - it grumbles about VPN ***
