Wordpress picture display issue

mrwITch is doing a website for an artist friend. She wants a set of pictures on a page and have it so that if you click on one, it enlarges, and then you have left/right arrows to scroll through the rest of the images on that page

Is this possible? Help very gratefully received

There’s a gallery option in the blocks menu, but it’s fairly basic. Otherwise I normally use a plug-in for more advanced options

You can use the default search in Wordpress to find addons via the plugin menu and just try a few to see what you like (example below), unless you specifically want to buy an external one that needs licensing etc:

 

 

I've used the metaslider (top right) previously, but obviously you may prefer a different layout/style

Enviragallery is quite good, used that in the past and also integrates with the ecommerce modules well if you want to go that way in the future.
