Adding a New Range in A Super Scope

Hi

 

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

 

I've added a new IP range in my school super scope and made it live this morning.

 

The addresses were being distributed fine and I found several devices had an addresses from this pool but they were unable to access the network or the internet.

 

Just wondering what I've made a pigs ear of here?

Are you sorted?

 

First guess would be the gateway IP / subnet mask, second would be the DNS servers, third would be your firewall/proxy if it's not expecting traffic on that IP range.

 

You can set the DNS etc at the root of DHCP so you don't need to include in each new scope, but it depends who set up your scopes.
