Hi all,

Migrated our first school onto our central tenancy this weekend. We ended up using Mover.io (sharepoint and onedrive) and CodeTwo (mailboxes) and the whole data transfer worked absolutely flawlessly!

The actual user side of things has proven to be a little more problematic! We have a couple of specific issues below:

People who have clicked 'Manage this device' when signing into Teams etc.

As far as I am aware this makes it a Azure AD registered device. Users who try to sign in on one of these devices get an error that the account does not exist on the old tenancy (which makes sense). If they go to Settings > Accounts > Access Work or school and delete the link they can then sign in fine. Have others had this? What is the correct way to handle these that requires as little input from staff as possible? If I delete them from Azure AD a week prior will this remove it from the laptop?

Other than that, and the fact we are not on a single domain so OneDrive is a little problematic, everything seems to have gone as well as could be anticipated. Next step, everyone onto Intune!

A second query. It seems that if we have not removed OneDrive sync from the laptop prior to disabling the account then quite often the account is not removed correctly by clicking Unlink Account after the account is disabled. The Onedrive folder remains on the left-hand side in explorer...

HAs anyone else seen this? Is there a fix - registry cleaning script or onedrive tidy up program???
