White banner on top of applications

Hi, for a while we have had a number of machines randomly present with a "white banner" issue, whereby many Windows applications will load up with a banner covering the top part of the application, particularly the file/edit/view etc navbar. This isn't application specific, but with google chrome, I noticed if we put it to full screen (f11) and back to normal again, the white banner goes away.

 

With Adobe reader for example, it looks like the below:

 

 

Clicking in the banner loads up whatever window is behind, as if the banner is a "gap" in the application. Really baffling me as what causes it. Anyone got any suggestions?

I had this last week, but it was explicitly Adobe Reader.

 

I removed it in Add/Remove and haven't got round to reinstalling it yet (we have Acrobat Pro also installed).

This is with multiple applications, but not necessarily on one machine (I have seen it at random times over the last few months, but it's quite rare). Really baffled by it!

Same issue occurring here, only affecting two computers so far, seems to happen for us with Google Chrome.

We had this happen on a PC with LTSC installed. Even after OS reinstall, graphics driver changes, adobe reinstalls, it kept cropping up. Hasn't come back since swapping the PC to 21H2.
