Mymaths login issues on iPads

We have a handful of iPads that won't login to mymaths. The password is correct when entered (if it's incorrect it says so ), but it just refreshes the page and puts them back onto the login page.

 

I've tried clearing the cache in safari, rebooting the iPads, resetting network settings, removing securly, I am completely baffled by it.

 

Has anyone encountered this before?

Weird that it only happens on some, any common factors in which ones exhibit the fault?

 

I tend to roll out the Chrome browser on our devices, as an alternative for when Safari is mucking about.

We are having the same issue with Chome.

No obvious similiarities. Sometimes a restart and clear of cache fixes it, but the last few have been very stubborn and won't shift.

Is this still flash based or have Oxford University Press finally updated this to HTML, the app is frankly awful anyway.

It's not Flash based and it works in a normal browser now.

Just thought I'd update this in case anyone else is struggling with it.

 

It seems to happen when the date /time is wrong on the iPad. If you set the time to Automatic, then the problem goes away.

Bear in mind that having the wrong date and time can affect many different aspects on iPads, from not connecting to wifi, to refusing to install certain apps.

Unfortunately, it's not something you can lock, and I think the pupils change it to get extra lives in games (which they are allowed to play at home).

Fairly certain you can enforce set automatically via your MDM. I will double check but im sure we do this already.

Thought so. Try this option to stop them messing about with the date and time.
