AJWhite1970 Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 So interesting thought, looking at the diary SIMS will expire and change to archival mode at midnight on Thursday 31st March for those schools who have opted out with term for many not finishing until Friday 8th April. Does that mean schools have to be fully migrated away from SIMS by the 31st March if they have given notice to leave, will ESS offer an 8 day grace for leaving or has this already been covered somewhere that I missed? #askingforafriend
Skelacia Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Your SIMS won't stop working on 1st April, you just won't be able to update it any further so the Spring upgrade to 7.204 is likely to be the last one you receive (assuming that's out before the end of March that is!). So your grace period is effectively until it breaks and you need support from ESS or until you need to do a statutory return that you haven't been upgraded for (likely Autumn 2022)
round2it Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 with any luck it might start to work properly
