jhothersall Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 We are using Microsoft Teams to deliver lessons, to students isolating. This syncs with Sims.net via a Locker job. This takes about 4 hours overnight, the problem is Sims.net Cover ... At the moment it is a manual task to add, and Locker don't offer a option to do this, anyone else come across a easier way to this that in Teams Admin Centre?
Boredguy Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Yes that is a bit of an issue, since the cover lessons do not actually get added to a teachers timetable that can be exported, as the cover module sits on top of it. Think the only way to get a list of cover out of SIMS is via the html export route which can be quite messy depending how each school uses it (for example our staff use the cover system for any re-roomed classes due to exams).

Boredguy Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 We never bother with the PDF step, since we take the raw SIMS cover html file and update it on the fly to display on our intranet, but that file is only ever as up to date as when the person in charge of cover updates it. I assume you either arrange the cover, or they liaise with you so you only update the details once the cover is set in stone?
