Sims.net multisite

Hi all

 

hoping someone can help. I've been using sims for years but have never worked with multiple sites on sims before. I had to recently reinstall sims on a device due to a failed update, and the user had access to 2 of our 3 sims sites. after reinstalling sims keeps erroring with incorrect details message when trying to sign on to one of these sites. i tried reinstalling and tested sims on my account i can sign in to all 3 sims sites however when i sign in as the user and test sims it still only works with on sims site.

 

any help would be appreciated

Does the connect.ini on the station have entries for the different sites and where the databases are stored?

We have 3 of our schools setup, so the connect.ini has

DatabaseMode=OnLine

[sIMSDatabases]
FriendlyName0=School 1

DatabaseName2=SIMS
Databasemode2=Online

Users pick the school from the drop down and then sign in with their credentials for it

Don't forget users need write permissions to the connnect.ini file when doing this :-)

yeah the device is showing up all 3 sites in the connect.ini file. currently this is what i see (names changed for security)

Thanks, this ended up being the issue, elevated users to modify access for the connnect.ini has fixed the issue
