HP Service Pack for Proliant (SPP)

Hi all,

 

Just a quick one.

 

Anyone have a link where I can frequently download the latest Service Pack for Proliant (SPP) for Gen 9 and Gen 10 servers ?

You can download them from the HPE website. Assuming your servers in warranty put the serial number in on the support site and it’ll provide the links to the latest drivers, firmware and SPPs etc.

 

You can only download the SPPs if you’ve got a valid support agreement with HPE though, so if it’s out of warranty then you’ll need to buy the warranty first.

I was able to download the SPP packs for my out of warranty Gen 9 servers a few months ago from the HPE site. I also think they have dropped the requirement for Gen 10 servers

 

Update - It seems you can no longer get the Gen 9 SPP without a warranty. Gen 10 is available tho.
