PS5 - supporting 2 monitors

I live in a friendly cul-d-sac and one of the neighbours is offering a couple of HDMI/DVI 24" monitors in return for a bottle of wine! Another lucky neighbour has PS5 and was hoping to use on of the monitors to extend his display. I'm not sure if he wants to achieve the equivalent of wide screen display, or run two screens for games that support it. I know he is not looking just to replicate the output of one screen. I understand PS5 has a single 2.1 HDMI output. Is what the neighbour is trying to achieve possible and if yes, how?

Thought I'd try again in case anyone was lucky enough to get a PS5 from Santa. I think my neighbour might be in a small minority!

Going to be honest, don’t think this is possible. I’ve only ever known consoles to drive one display AFAIK

Depending on how the PS5 handles non-standard resolutions, you may be able to use a product like the Matrox Triplehead-2-Go to split a single picture across two screens from a single HDMI port, but that’s a hideously expensive product. Even then, I think having a big pair of bezels in the middle of your field of view would be pretty irritating.
