Ideal for a Senior Technician looking to take the next step or Network/ IT Manager looking for a new challenge.

 

As the Schools’ progress in becoming a leader in the application of IT to support teaching and learning, we are to expand our team with this new role operating across our three sites, initially with a primary base at Stamford School. The Schools have an aspiration to be an IT Leader and recently invested £0.5m in a Switch and Wireless infrastructure project and £1.4m on a 1-2-1 device provision for all pupils from Year 4 to Year 13 to help prepare our students with the digital skills for the future.

 

We are looking for experienced technical expert with experience in the education sector although desirable but not essential. However, applicants must have a good understanding of IT technologies and at least 3 years’ previous experience. The role will manage day to day the physical and cloud infrastructure and support our users.

 

The role is for 52 weeks of the year, 37.5 hours per week with some remote working possible. The successful candidates will also have the opportunity to gain qualifications in Microsoft and cyber related technologies to provide development and progression within the role.
