steveg Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 We want to standardise our signatures across the school. We use office 365 for email, and a combination of desktop computers using Outlook or the web client and a lot of staff ipads. Creating signatures in Outlook or the website works fine. If we want one on the ipad though the logo picture we have in it does not work. I have tried creating it within the Outlook App on the ipad - we copy an existing signature, paste it into the signature box in the settings, and then just change the name / job title. All looks fine in the box, and also looks fine on the ipad when we create a new email, but when it is received the logo is not there, but a box with a red X and "The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location" The logo also does not appear in the email in sent items on the ipad. The logo sends fine from everywhere else. Is this a problem with our setup, or does having logos in signatures on the Outlook app just not work?
rh91uk Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 It is quite a common known problem - I embed a HTML signature with a base64 image and it does the trick https://elmah.io/tools/base64-image-encoder/
