usb printers

can anyone help me set up a printer on my thin client

 

its runs via citrix over terminal services? i just cant seem to get them to work

 

when i connect them via usb it say error unreconised usb driver etc

 

need help urgently

What thin-clients do you have...?

 

I guess they are not from us, but surely the manufacturer offers support....?

we have 2 types but both are hp

OK - Well obviously I am not the best person to help but I can tell you how we do it - the principle should be the same.

 

The only settings in the terminal are the printer driver (specific) and printer name (non specific), and enable 'Printer Re-direction'.

 

Make sure the printer driver is installed on the server.

 

When the terminal connects it presents the name of the driver (ie EPSON EPL-6200L Advanced) and printer name (ie Accounts), to the server.

 

Windows automatically creates a printer of name Accounts, using the Epson driver...
