mrhall Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 We have many students with special needs information, and many students with medical information. Although we can add these documents into SIMS - and we also put them on a shared part of our network - still needs to staff to find out the student has these needs - and then find the individual documents. We wonder whether anyone has made something that could (a) print appropriate documents for a class (b) produce a "class booklet" (which I guess we could do if a printed solution existed) Would be kind of cool if we could create a booklet for each teaching class (we're a secondary school - so there are lots of classes!) - and we might print them ? Or perhaps we'd regenerate a pdf from time to time - and find an easy way to distribute these. Seems like someone might have done this already? Peter
NickBryson Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 I do this exact process with Recordlink. Brilliant bit of software.
Hedgehog13 Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 Just yesterday I received an email promoting exactly this - RecordLink - and offering a free trial too. This is the link if it is of any use to anyone. https://r1.dotdigital-pages.com/p/25N2-T6J/recordlink?utm_source=https%3a%2f%2fschools.tecl.co.uk%2feducationcompany7lz%2f&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=RecordLink+-+Email+1+-+November+2021&utm_term=Document+management+in+SIMS+made+easy&utm_content=6482596&gator_td=2wdKQWbGawjfsWz3fgDHOrORmZ%2fTAgWM0GLW1C91CqaTlLCB%2bHnsiyWK0c172DQeRxInPj55GtyswXQPOhjuRIEhKhiAJBks%2bqOZs14kgn0VKas2ih4pbC43Zqqcye1sIYC2NcVT7UzmzSYIuCBs4m%2bfIb8eoyaqhmQ7m63gAUV%2buvI8i3R%2bSDi3zABx22WF 1
