Dell R630 with Storage Spaces

Hi All,

 

We bought some replacement servers from ICT Direct.

 

We ended up pushing them into Service earlier than we would have liked.

 

We are looking at rebuilding them using Storage spaces and would like to talk to other users of similar hardware regarding setup within Storage spaces along with other options such as REFS v NTFS and so forth.

Are you on about Storage Spaces Direct? The bit in a hyper converged setup to make them into a "virtual SAN" for lack of a better word? Or are you on about Tiered Storage so they are using local storage but like a giant Cached SSHD?
