Just an FYI Windows 11 for us was not automatically connecting you manaual had to press connect and it said is this the network you are expecting.... turns out in our 802.1X Wifi Policy the server was sepcified in lowercase but the certificate for the NPS server was in uppercase.... so Windows 10 didnt care about the case sensitivity.. server.ourdomain.lan and SERVER.ourdomain.lan

GPO where the Wi-Fi policy is applied

Computer>Policy>Windows Settings> Wireless Network (802.1) Policies> Name of Wifi>Preferred Network Policies>Network Name(SSID)>Security Settings>IEE 802.1X Settings>Network Authentication Method Properties>Connect to these servers

in here make sure they match the certificate name that is used in the Radius server so ours were listed here all in lowercase but the certificate was issued to the server in uppercase in our case SERVERNAME.domain.dom so we just made sure it matched

i'm having the same problem here with some equipment when trying to connect prompts for action. But I'm not able to locate this policy. Could you help me know how I find out this policy?
