Unable to search users on Teams

Hi,

 

We're having a peculiar issue regarding teams, it's regarding chatting with students. So for example, I am unable to find [email protected] through my teams but my colleague can? I have checked the account of the student and everything is correct, licenses, permissions, groups etc.. Even in classes they are able to communicate. I do have the setting "scope directory search using an exchange address book policy".

 

Any ideas?
