Replacement battery for APC Back-UPS Pro 550 recommendation

The UPS is screaming at the wildlife rescue where I volunteer.

 

Everyone looking blank except me who clocked the flashing battery symbol and knew exactly what the problem was.

 

It’s hot-swappable and well within my capabilities so that’ll save them paying someone to come out.

 

What battery brand/supplier would you recommend? (Or avoid?)

 

If we can keep this under £50 even better. The rescue, like many registered charities, is cash-strapped thanks to covid.

I wonder if you could try and get a freebie from APC or a decent supplier like Insight in exchange for a bit of free publicity? A tweet perhaps? [emoji849]

dont buy cheap replacements, and dont go for the battery and caddy option just buy the batteries and swap them out yourself 10 min job

 

hope the batteries have not swelled my last change took about an hour to get the little beggers out.

APC battery has been ordered and I am will do the swap when I am next in. I have swapped UPS batteries before. I too am hoping it will come out easily!
