techie17 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Hi I'm really new to Flow and i'm testing the ability for Forms data from two different forms to be put into a Sharepoint list, with either the record created or existing records updated and i'm getting stuck. The MS forms are simply signout forms, one for IT equipment that will be issued to a user and the other form will be for keys and fobs. The end user goes to the form, fills them out and the responses get saved but i want this data from both forms (which records against the users email address) to be put into one row for that user into a sharepoint list, which is either created or if it changes, then that one row is updated. What i dont really want to happen is multiple rows for that user in the sharepoint list. Has anyone done anything similar and would kindly share their flow or point me in the right direction? I've got "When a response is Submitted" (Flow) then "Get response details" (Flow) and then Create List (SP) which will create new records but not update any existing records for a user. Many thanks
chaplic Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 that looks good so far. There isn't a flow item to "Create this in the sharepoint list but if it exists then edit it" so it's a bit of a faff. You have to Figure out if the item exists in the sharepoint list, then edit it or if item doesnt exist then create it Solved: Flow to create OR update Sharepoint List based on ... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com) discusses an approach
