Hi all,

 

Any of you lovley people use Ciphr has their HR software?

 

We are having issues at on of our sites with the site either not repsonding, very slow etc.

 

We have a Smoothwall box in place with Ciphr in as an exception.

 

Ciphr say its us, Smoothwall say their system is fine.

 

Caught between a rock and a hard place!

Have you tried from home, from a line that does go via Smoothwall or a machine set to bypass Smoothwall?

Interestingly it was an issue with our ISP in the end and it's now been resolved!

Awesome. Are you able to expand on what the issue was with the ISP? Purely selfishly for future me if we do end up going with CIPHR

Yes, we use JISC and there was some routing issues that have since been resolved so I can't imagine this having any effect going forward. A one in a million change of it going wrong.... and it did!
