Chromecast Management, Google Home and Chromecast Error

Hi All

 

We used to manage several schools ChromeCast devices using Google Home, we would login on a Android device and use the Google Admin account to add the devices to Google Home.

 

Now we are receiving an error on the ChromeCasts - "available for specific video sites" and we cannot cast to them from the ChromeBooks

 

We have tried to login to the Google Admin account on Google Home which is now Google Workspace and its not letting us, its saying: "you do not have access to this service"

 

So I have gone into Google Admin and under Additional Services > Web and App Activity and enabled this for the admin OU.

 

We are still unable to login into the Google Home Account that we once used and therefore unable to try any of the fixes for the ChromeCast issue we are seeing and many others are.

 

Also as we manage many schools, we are not always on site and therefore as Google restricts management of ChromeCasts to mobile devices we are unable to do this remotely. We have installed Bluestacks Android Emulator on a site laptop and installed Google Home, but get the same "you do not have access to this service" error.

 

Is anyone having the same issues? Has anyone anything that will help with any of the above, it would be greatly appreciated.
