timbo343 Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 We've had a bit of a change of personnel at our place and the current accident database which is built on an internal spiceworks system, we were fed up with bits of paper and at the time (3 years ago) something like the spiceworks platform worked for us but the part that didn't work was the shockingly bad reporting that spiceworks uses - it got to a point where we needed to link MS Access to the spiceworks SQL database. Anyway, we are thinking about either looking at a paid system or we are thinking about having a Google Form that ties into a spreadsheet and specific users can filter the data from there to then manually generate reports from there.. so my question is, what does everyone else do for logging their accidents in school?
dhicks Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 so my question is, what does everyone else do for logging their accidents in school? We use Evolve Accident Book: https://edufocus.co.uk/ I don't think I've had anything to do with the system, which is probably a good thing - it's something that doesn't need direct IT involvement in, it just gets on with its task without fuss.
slugshead Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 This is what we use, wasn't involved in the purchase or setup. But for those who use it, it works for them https://www.weareevery.com/compliance_manager/
powdarrmonkey Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 If a man can step back from his existing solution and document all his users' requirements in plain language he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and suitable solutions will come to him.

gsk Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 We use MS Forms - It's simple and does the job. It doesn't allow for follow-ups but from what I gather from those using it, that would only be RIDDOR reportable ones and that's done on an LA system.

If you go that route, use Data Studio instead. Massively, massively powerful.
