NTP Server

Hi,

 

So our Primary domain controller is down and having issues trying to get it to boot. I have an issue as the machines in the domain are set to get the time from this server, set via GPO. Can I set my member server to the NTP server or does it have to be the PDC?

Anything can be NTP as long as they're the same.

 

Our firewall is our NTP.

You can use group policies / registry to set fall back time servers (can help when off site too), we use uk.pool.ntp.org as our fallback and this itself has redundancy built in:
