Lenovo V15-IIL Battery Life

The battery life on these laptops are shockingly bad! 2 Hours max even when just browsing a webpage.

 

I`ve been thinking about getting some replacement batteries, has anyone got this model?

 

The batteries are built in, but don't look to hard to change.

I've got 130 of these and I hate them. Batteries seem OK in ours though. We at first thought we had problems with the batteries, but then found that the trolleys weren't charging them properly and needed a firmware update.

Same issue. I contacted Lenovo and was told they were performing as expected. I did a battery health report too and they reported as being okay too. All latest drivers and firmware/BIOS versions from Lenovo as well.

 

The laptops perform really well but the teachers hate the really poor battery life. I think we will be going back to HP next time they're due a refresh.

Please can you tell me What are the firmware updates that you made to fix the Lenovo v15-iil battery life issue?

And did that work?

It was the trollies which needed the firmware update, not the laptops.
