Impero - Google Sync issues

Is anyone else having issues getting Impero to sync with Google Classroom?

 

'Unable to sync google classrooms' service error.' in a pink pop up in the top right.

 

It does this for all users and means currently we have no useable groups in Impero which means the software is basically worthless.

 

I've contacted Impero support but we've been going round in circles for 4 days now and are no further forward - does anyone have a solution?
