Tubby_The_Tuba Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 Hi I’m trying to PXE boot an ASUS Prime H510-A to FOG (Linux based) to deploy a windows image. There is no way to disable secure boot in bios but I keep getting the attached error. Has anyone seen this before or know how to avoid secure boot? No reply from ASUS yet. Dave
Zourous Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 I think secure boot needs to be off for fog. Not the best answer but you could move the storage to the another pc so you can deploy the image and then move it back again.
Jcx500 Posted August 30, 2021 Posted August 30, 2021 Seen issues with fog and secure boot in the past. We always disabled it when imaging
Tubby_The_Tuba Posted September 23, 2021 Author Posted September 23, 2021 Hi in the end we had to insert an old graphics card as the onboard graphics chip wasn't supported by Fog PXE. That got us into fog but the imaging still failed. We gave up and are setting up SCCM for imaging.
