[sims] Edulink connection errors

Just had a edulink sims agent critical email

 

It can't connect to capitasolus.co.uk/CESAddress/ValidateUKAddress.asmx

 

Has something happened that I don't know about ?

Well that capitasolus address changed back in July to the new ess solus one at least for solus, but guessing it could be affecting other servers if they haven’t updated yet (as part of the sale from capita)

That's what I thought, but there hasn't been as far as I'm aware of any updates - stopped working about 3am ish

Isn't that just for validating addresses in SIMS when you input them, so they match an actual street address? It might not be that big of an issue but I'm not sure how EduLink uses that.

No clue, but it's magically started working again - could've been anything I guess
