Taskbar is broken

Hi all,

 

Our redirection group policy's had been deleted and recreated with the new mappings and since then all users intermittently have been losing there taskbar or have not been able to pin anything to the taskbar. If I disable the new redirection policy then the taskbar works 100% of the time. All the policy is doing is mapping start menu and desktop to the network location which works 100% of the time,

 

Anyone had similar issues?

I have heard that simply deleting GPOs can create odd compliance or behaviour issues (leaving a legacy of some part of the old setting behind?)

 

However, I don't recall what the remedy was.
