Scheduled Task not running

I have a monthly task schedule to run on day of a specific week of each month. But it looks like it does not run. If I change the task to weekly it seems to work OK. I have seen this post - https://forums.ivanti.com/s/article/Scheduled-Monthly-Task-Runs-One-Week-Early-or-Not-At-All?language=en_US and it seems to state that the task runs not when it is scheduled or not at all. And the KB it lists is kb4343884 but I don't see this available in the MS Catalogue any more.

 

We are having the issue on Server 2016 where the task does not run. Has anyone seen this issue with Server 2016 and if so how did you fix it?

I've seen this - https://serverfault.com/questions/821184/windows-server-2016-scheduled-task-schedule-must-be-in-future but from what I can see the latest CU should resolve this issue. But stupid question time. We create a scheduled task from GPP and it applies on the servers. But the time is in the past (when the task was created) so any new clients getting this policy will get the scheduled task with a start date in the past. If this is causing an issue how can I make sure the task has todays date? The issue we have were the task does not get triggered until the date is changed to the future could be resolved if I could create the task with todays date without having to modify the GPO.

Just an update on this as we seem to have found a cause. The schedule job was created on 9 March and for some servers it was not triggering. If we change the start date to 29 March (after DST) then the job runs as expected. Seems a little odd why it only affects some servers, but we are going to check next week when we have another lot of servers where the task will run and change the GPO to see what happens next month.
