nicholab Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 I have a problem a laptop is not building properly from Autopilot. I can see it in the autopilot list of devices but it is not registering correctly with Intune. What the best course of action? To get it to build properly?
fredesq Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 See if you can assign an autopilot profile with the education portal : Microsoft Store for Education How long has it been like that? Sometimes they can take a few days to properly appear. Other thing to check, is in Intune, look at whether its registered as Cooporate, Personal or blank - if its blank or personal, give it some more time.
nicholab Posted August 6, 2021 Author Posted August 6, 2021 It not appear in Intune. This device had been previously joined to the network.
fredesq Posted August 6, 2021 Posted August 6, 2021 When you click on the device in Autopilot and it brings up the context menu on the right, is there a link to the Associated Azure AD Device? If not then it sounds like you need to re-enroll the device.
nicholab Posted August 6, 2021 Author Posted August 6, 2021 (edited) There is an azure AD device. That I can’t delete from anywhere and it state is not enrolled. Edited August 6, 2021 by nicholab

Roberto Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 (edited) Try removing the device from AAD, autopilot, and Intune. Could it be have been added previously with an old name? Or equally, could the device name be a duplicate of another? The error you post does suggest an identity error of some kind, if other devices are building ok. nicholab Posted August 11, 2021 Author Posted August 11, 2021 How do you create an enterprise install for Windows 10 without a key? I am trying create a virtual machine to test.
nicholab Posted August 12, 2021 Author Posted August 12, 2021 I have an Intune registration that does have the device listed.
