Channing School - Senior ICT Technician

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive person to join our IT support team. This is a very hands-on position, where teamwork and communication is crucial and all the team members work alongside each other on projects to ensure the job is done to a high standard and efficiently. We are predominantly an Apple school with the majority of our hardware Apple based. We also utilise Google Workspace which is used widely across both sites in the classroom and for admin tasks.

 

The Senior ICT Technician will help run the schools IT helpdesk by creating, managing and escalating incoming tickets. The post holder will help with first and second line support ensuring issues are dealt with swiftly and effectively. The Senior ICT Technician will also provide input to the schools overall digital strategy and assist with any ongoing plans with the network infrastructure.
