Kyle Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Complete Novice when it comes to Mac, I've inherited a suite full of Mac's, currently they dual boot with an older version of Windows 10. What i want to know is can i update just the windows side of the dual boot to the latest version of Windows 10? If so how do i go about it?
Michael Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I've not done this, but see no reason why it wouldn't work. Either an in place upgrade or mounting a virtual ISO will display on the boot screen - holding the Alt/Option key for 10 seconds at startup.
tg12 Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I've had no problem just updating Windows on my personal Mac through Windows Update or the Upgrade Assistant. It's no different to a normal Windows install for the most part.
