Hi, I need to ensure all users use the D drive in Photoshop, as in the scratch disk. Any ideas how to achieve this? Scripts??

Thanks!

We get the art teacher to drum this into the students when they first open any adobe software, PS isn't that important, but Premiere really is important to set those disks when creating your project

Bridge is also a nightmare if you don't set them, make some instructions and send them out

Settings are saved in "%AppData%\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2021\Adobe Photoshop 2021 Settings" on Windows.

I think it's the "MachinePrefs.psp" file that contains the scratch disk path(s). You'll need to use Photoshop to edit it.

The setting is probably buried away in a JSON file.

Adobe wouldn't make it that easy. It looks like they use some proprietary format (.psp) for most preferences. :(
