Hi,

I have been following this guide on install a UI for the Steam Deck on Ubuntu and i'm getting stuck.

Guide link is here: https://timothycrosley.github.io/streamdeck-ui/

But when i get to this line:

pip3 install --user streamdeck_ui

I get a error:

ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement pyside2<6.0,>=5.13 (from streamdeck_ui) (from versions: none)

ERROR: No matching distribution found for pyside2<6.0,>=5.13 (from streamdeck_ui)

Any ideas?

Not the reply you are looking for but StreamDeck on Ubuntu is a PITA.

There are issues such as Windows losing focus etc. I gave up and went back to Windows for Video work and CAD. Use Ubuntu as a daily driver other than that and apart from the odd issue in Teams/Zoom am pretty happy.

Thank you. My other option is to run this over a network USB Server. But the software doesn't see the steam deck. (The USB Server picks up the device and connects it)

Yeah I am not convinced USB network servers will work in all situations, they are best suited for connecting storage INMO :-) .

Good luck.
