We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified ICT Technician to support IT provision across Knutsford Academy and Cheshire Studio School, and Egerton Primary School in Knutsford. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we expand and strengthen IT provision across the growing trust.

 

The successful candidate will assist with the maintenance of the Academy computer hardware in liaison with staff/ manufacturers / suppliers as required. Complete minor repairs to equipment and cabling and provide on-the-spot advice to other members of staff regarding such matters, to ensure maximum availability and usage of equipment. Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils using the computer systems, resolving any issues as required in a timely fashion. Assist with the regular patching of Academy software, including Microsoft Windows.

 

This is a full-time role working term time plus 4 weeks (42 weeks). The role will be supported by the Senior ICT Technician and the ICT Network Manager.
