Google Shared drive - Deleted file gets restored

I have just had the following email and I have no idea what the issue could be....

 

I am trying to delete some of the files in the Shared Drive > Staff Drive > Maths folder and a message keeps coming up saying it has been restored - any ideas?

 

I should point out I have not actually seen the issue, but wondered if anyone had any ideas.

I'd put money on another member of staff getting a notification that the files have been deleted and hitting restore...

Google Admin > Reports > Audit > Drive > Add a filter for the "shared drive id" then add a filter for the item name.

 

See what pops up but bald_pig is probably on the money.

Absolutely going to be a battle between two staff members!

 

But yes, Tones is on the money. Take a look in the Drive Audit and see whats happening with the file.
