IT Support Technician - University College Birmingham (£23,754 to £25,941 per annum)

UCB are looking to recruit an experienced IT professional to work as part of a multi-skilled team, providing prompt and customer-focused support to staff and students on a wide range of IT and related issues across the University.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
  
• Maintenance, configuration and troubleshooting of a variety of hardware and software.
  
• An understanding of the needs of students and the importance of the student experience.
  
• A professional approach.
  
• Effective communication skills.
  
• Strong team working approach.
  
• Relevant professional qualification.
  
• Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the service, including a willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends to support University events.
