DSAGEY Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 (edited) Hello, I have been trying to customise the taskbar for all users. I have been trying for a few weeks by following guides (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/configuration/configure-windows-10-taskbar) but it does not seem to be working. The only items pinned to the taskbar that I want is; Google Chrome, Snip & Sketch & Windows Explorer. I do not want Edge, Store or Mail. I have exported a taskbar from my login with the pinned items, but it's saved as a registry file - would this be able to be set as a GPO? IS anyone able to help with this? Thanks Edited June 13, 2021 by DSAGEY
chris_uk Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 Use this as your starting point, I have File Explorer, Edge, Excel, PowerPoint and Word pinned to the task bar. xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/Start/2014/LayoutModification" xmlns:defaultlayout="http://schemas.microsoft.com/Start/2014/FullDefaultLayout" xmlns:start="http://schemas.microsoft.com/Start/2014/StartLayout" xmlns:taskbar="http://schemas.microsoft.com/Start/2014/TaskbarLayout" Version="1"> 1
