Outlook clients certificate issue.

Why do some Outlook client give this message?

 

outlook.office365.com

 

"The security certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust." and

The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name on the site."

Have you checked your DNS records/settings as if you type the error in to Google, Microsoft comes up saying something about DNS AutoDiscover settings being the culprit?

Something is intercepting the traffic, for example if I got onto hotel wifi the first thing it'll do is offer up a signon page on the URL I request, and isn't aware that its outlook requesting the page and not a web browser.
