Windows 10 Issues with photo viewer when printing

Hi Guys,

 

Wondered if anyone could help I'm a technician working for an MSP and coming into this issue across multiple primary schools. When staff are wanting to print multiple JPEG documents on a single page in a wallet form it sends to the networked printer but when print logs are checked it says "error deletion". I have come across a workaround by using Windows Photo's but there doesn't seem to be an option to do a wallet print of multiple photos on a single page. I can only seem to print one photo per page. If anyone has a solution or a third party alternative it would be greatly appreciated.

As a workround, create a Powerpoint Photo album with an image on each slide, then print 9 slides to the page.

I came across this issue on only 1 laptop. printing multiple pictures would get no print..(from explorer) other programs were fine just the "Print Pictures". I tried everything and was forced to re-install windows.

Have you tried a repair or reset of the photos app? If you go into the app list and find and select Microsoft Photos, click the Advanced Options then scroll down and there should be the Repair and the Reset options.

Thanks Guys you've been a great help. I managed to resolve it in the end by logging into a supply account and testing the same issue and it worked perfectly. So i performed a profile reset on that user and bingo it was working. Although I do think Microsoft need to come up with an alternative if they are going to discontinue photo viewer. At the moment i cannot see any option to do a wallet style print for multiple photos on one page.
