Hi folks,

We've got a handful of staff getting a Javascript error with the Teams desktop app.

Typically reinstalling Teams fixes it, sometimes only temporarily though.

The error points to the user's AppData\Local\Microsoft\Teams folder, so in some instances we've uninstalled and deleted the folder the reinstalled.

I've raised the issue with 365 support but they seem at a loss. They've suggested reinstalling the Visual C++ redistributable and .net 4, neither of which have helped.

Anyone else getting this, and have any ideas how to permanently fix it?

Thanks

Solved. We redirect the downloads folder to a network drive. This error only occurred when staff were outside of school, and Teams couldn't cope with the redirected downloads folder. I changed it back to a local folder, no error.
