Adobe Animate CC Default assets in Documents

We've just installed Adobe Animate CC and it appears on first run for a user it copies all the default assets (About 250MB) to the users Documents folder. This didn't throw any obvious error and it wasn't until they started trying to use these assets that an error came up saying they "can't be downloaded from the server". Dug about a bit then found the assets under "Documents\Adobe\Animate\2021\Assets\Default" and some users home drives maxed out during the copy which meant not all the assets were copied and hence the (misleading) error.

 

Anyone know how to stop this behaviour in Animate? I can't seem to find much about it on Google or Adobe's resources. It'd be nice if they just pulled them from the Program Files. I've opened a support request with Adobe hoping they may have an answer but I think I trust Edugeek more!

In case anyone comes across this, Adobe says there's no way to change this behaviour. There's recomendation was to either increase storage space for affected users or to go back to Animate 2020 which doesn't have the default assets. Now excuse me while I go and clean up a bunch of student user areas...
