Mrluckhurst Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 After being inspired by a thread on here somewhere about training opportunities for IT staff within schools I am looking for some appropriate training for our technician. He has been in role for 5 or 6 years and seems to have a great understanding of the day to day admin of our windows based server and the networks that go with it. What training / development would you recommend as being particularly useful? I also need to add that I don't have an unlimited budget for this as, once I have an idea, I need to sell it to the SBM and the Head Thanks
Omega_NL Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 I've been looking at this thread for personal ideas for training courses: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/courses-training/200765-certification-thread.html 1
Rob_D Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 We use https://www.udemy.com/ quite a bit for ad-hock training. They're inexpensive (when you consider they always have something on discount) and the courses have proved quite good. 1
Mrluckhurst Posted May 18, 2021 Author Posted May 18, 2021 Thanks @Omega_NL I have read through that thread several times but have to admit I got a bit lost....
