Should we get WiFi 6?

Just about to upgrade the WiFi accross a primary school and noticed there are now some WiFi 6 access points out.

 

Going to continue with UniFi

depends how long the wifi you're upgrading to is going to be in there for, if you have the spends for it, may as well get wifi 6 to future proof rather than buying already aging devices

I assume the AP6 pro is better but wanted to double check. If so I'll probably wait until it comes out of beta

We have it here site wide, not really noticed the difference to be honest.

Yes, unless you're buying APs that need replacing all the time, or getting the old ones for half price, or everyone uses the internet only and that's already maxed

We’re working with one of our academy trusts on a full upgrade. We decided WiFi 6 makes sense - and current models are going EoL.
