Jaan Posted May 4, 2021 Posted May 4, 2021 Hi all, I have a Qnap TS-870 that we use for storing backups, its been fine for years. Recently i've noticed that it's slowly been running out of storage space (20TB). Today i have only 577GB left....... i assumed that once the backup had expired, they would be deleted......jobs a good un(this is how it's worked in the past). However, i decided the manually delete some older backups that have expired that are no longer needed..... It seems that even though files are being deleted, the qnap isn't reclaiming the "free space". I've had a look on the Qnap forums, lots of peeps seem to have silular issues. I have full admin permissions and i'm able to SSH into it.... just no idea what to do next as it all "looks fine". Any ideas?
