Gongalong Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Hi folks, We have a 2019ish iMac with Catalina and Office 365 connected to a Promethean touchscreen via a USB C HDMI adapter. MacOS is configured to mirror the displays. The combination works fine until we open a PowerPoint and then launch a slideshow. When we do this it only shows the slideshow on the iMac, not the touchscreen. The touchscreen goes black as it seems the display is disabled. It doesn't matter whether launched as a normal slideshow or in Presenter View. If I reconfigure the displays to be extended it still does the same thing. Anyone know how to get the slides to display on the second screen? Thanks
johnat1121 Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 I've had this before on a visitors mac book, under slideshow there is a drop down to select the monitor to display on, chaning this to the IWB screen worked 1
Gongalong Posted April 25, 2021 Author Posted April 25, 2021 Ahhh fab, thanks! Not sure how I missed that.
Gongalong Posted April 26, 2021 Author Posted April 26, 2021 I just double checked on our PowerPoint (365) and we don't have this setting. You can change the Show Set Up though to only show in a window, rather than full screen, and that stops the weird display switching.
